In this movie the plot reflect the title in the sense that a man is trying to go “the whole nine yards” in order to get away from his wife as she and her mother hate him and he is currently living a very depressed life as a dentist in. the state of Alaska. The mafia somehow end up getting involved and the man begins to fall in love with a hitman’s wife.
The movie “The Whole Ten Yards” is actually the sequel to the movie “The Whole Nine Yards” which was released in the year 2000. I didn’t hear of this sequel though until about two or three years ago when I saw it being broadcast on a cable television channel.
