Taking Notes Hearing something once is not enough to really learn it, and that is why note taking is so important. Clearly written, accurate notes help to capture information for later study and review. Taking notes also helps you to focus and learn during class time.
Please check what we did in class when you were gone, complete any classwork or homework that was assigned, and copy any notes you missed into your notebook. If any notes are attached you may use these notes as a reference; however, I frequently add additional tips and helpful examples during class based on discussions, so these notes are not all inclusive to what was missed during class.
